About Have Not Films

Have Not Films (HNF) is a full-spectrum entertainment and production company. Founded by veteran Erik Bernard, a former U.S. Army Ranger with 13 years of service under his belt, we are a network of filmmakers across the world who create movies, TV shows, VR, and other entertainment experiences across media platforms.

"Erik is good, very good, and I am sure he will be successful. I base my appraisal of Erik's potential on a 30-year career in Hollywood as a producer and studio production exec. My credits include Mr. Holland's Opus, three of films that competed for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, and a number of television productions." -Michael Nolin, Film and Television Professor SCAD

Why You Should Invest

We are talent packed. Our international team of industry professionals has garnered more than 50 awards for screenwriting and production in just three short years, and worked on major productions such as:
-AVATAR
-LORD OF THE RINGS
-SPEED RACER
-FAST AND FURIOUS 6
-SPECTRE, AND MANY MANY MORE...

We have great projects in the works. We currently have the following projects generating buzz and excitement in the industry:

NASA endorsed Sci-Fi screenplay "Space Racer" being reviewed by A-List directors and producers to be produced as the first installment of our exciting franchise.

Horror anthology "10th Moon Volume: 1" screenplay is complete awaiting finance and is also currently being developed for distribution through Have Not Films Comics.

We want your voice!
Movie fans will get a voice in Have Not Films. You will be able to contact us and discuss our slate of projects and answer questions we present to help guide the future and success of our intellectual properties.

How We Intend to Make Money

Our market is in the gap between mega-budget studio pictures and the niche market of independent film.

Our revenue model is to make money writing, producing, and distributing films, animation, and graphic novels. We will sell these completed films, graphic novels, and animation through all available media distribution platforms across the world and whenever possible directly to our fans.

We will also design and produce apparel, toys, and other forms of merchandise, and provide graphic design and film development services to our partners and to other clients.

Why We are Raising Capital, and What We’ll Do with It

The Jobs Act created the possibility to obtain the direct support from those who believe in our dream. Raising money and connecting to our fans was an opportunity we could not pass up. All of this happens at a time when production companies and fans are uniting to make entertainment history, we feel we are in a great position to be a part of that movement.

FAQ

By helping us spread the word. The best content in the world can only be validated if it is seen. Today, we are more connected that we have ever been. One video or image can rapidly reach millions of viewers creating a tremendous opportunity for creatives seeking to create and distribute content. A group of committed fans can help raise awareness, help test the viability of new intellectual property, and ultimately provide a marketing edge that will enable us to expand our fan base.
There are many publicly owned entertainment companies such as Universal Studios, Walt Disney, etc., however, the major shareholders are corporate investors and financial funds. Although ownership in these companies provides the opportunity to make a financial return on investment, it does not guarantee access to the filmmaking process, be it behind the scenes or during the creative process. Have Not Films will offer that experience to its shareholders.
Recent changes to securities law (the JOBS Act) have opened the door for the general public to invest in early stage ventures like Have Not Films. Previously, investment in movies and TV tended to be limited to wealthy “accredited investors.” Now, Have Not Films is providing an opportunity to join an empowering journey into entertainment that will directly connect its investors to the voice of talented artists.
No. We will spread capital across a slate of pictures to distribute risk so that our success is not determined by the outcome of one project. You will however, be able to follow the progress of any projects you select.
As with all companies, our biggest risk involves the investment of time, energy and finances in a project that turns out to be a commercial failure, which is why Have Not Films will develop a slate of projects in order to distribute that risk. We will also be drawing on the industry experience of our partners and associates to ensure that those projects correspond to genre and fan-base expectations.
It will be a combination of mobile apps and existing peer to peer networking programs. A lot of our work can be done using existing channels, like private Facebook forums, but we will also be working with our partners to develop apps to provide exclusive access to our shareholders.
Not at all. As with the distribution of risk through the development of a slate of projects, and in the context of the current evolution in audience habits, our diversity allows us to spread the risk across different types of media outlets and platforms.
We offer creators the possibility to take a concept from development to the viewer under one roof. Be it through writing services, pitch decks, budgeting, scheduling, legal services, or graphic illustration, we can ensure that the project reaches production in an optimum state of development. Through production and post production we offer the services of our consultants, producers, and talented crew who have worked on some of the biggest films to ever show the theaters.

We are very confident that other creatives will choose a partnership with our team and a direct connection to fans, rather than going with the big studios that seek to recycle the same old stories.
The world of Independent filmmaking is changing, as are the viewing habits of today's potential audience. Traditional studios are unable or unwilling to adapt to category of budget and product that we wish to develop. Now is the time to propose a flexible solution that is able to respond to the accelerating evolution of both the product and the market.
The money we raise from this round will allow us to continue to develop Have Not Films, launch up to four (4) projects, our comic line, and an animation series as we prepare for another round of funding later this year.
No one knows which project is going to be the next hit. The goal of the entertainment industry is to find stories that resonate. We will encourage fans to share books, comics, stories, and scripts that have strong potential and with which they already connect.
There will be moments when we will have to choose between graphic illustrations, merchandising ideas, video edits, and many other content decisions. We would like to invite fans to vote in these situations and provide feedback to identify ways to enhance our concepts whenever possible.

Although we reserve the right to make the final decisions, our shareholders' votes and feedback will have a preponderant weight in that decision.
